The Wedding Weekend
A weekend of celebration, culture, and love in paradise. Here's everything you need to know about our time together.
Attire Guidelines
A few things to keep in mind—we want everyone to feel comfortable and have a great time!
Embrace Color
Both Mexican and Indian celebrations are known for vibrant colors! Avoid all-white (traditionally reserved for ceremonies) or all-black—this is a celebration meant to be colorful and joyful.
Breathable Fabrics
December in Cancún is warm (75-85°F). Choose breathable fabrics like cotton, linen, and silk to stay comfortable. Save jeans and athletic wear for the pool—evening events call for elevated attire.
Beach-Friendly Footwear
Skip the stilettos—the sand won't cooperate! Wedges, block heels, or dressy flats work best for sandy venues while keeping you comfortable and stylish.
Light Layers
Indoor venues may be air-conditioned. A light shawl or blazer can be helpful for the ceremony and reception, adding elegance while keeping you comfortable.

Welcome & Celebration
Welcome to México Dinner
To kick off the weekend, we're hosting a relaxed welcome dinner for guests who've already arrived. Join us in celebrating by wearing attire inspired by Mexico or India—think traditional dress, festive colors, or elevated looks influenced by either culture. If neither feels quite right, festive resort attire is always welcome!

For Her
Mexican-inspired dresses, sarees, kurtas, colorful maxi dresses, or festive resort wear
For Him
Guayaberas, kurtas, colorful shirts, or linen attire in bright colors
We'd love to see you embrace the spirit of Team Mexico or Team India! This is a fun way to honor both heritages before the official festivities begin. The goal is celebration, not perfection—wear what makes you feel festive and ready to party.

A Note on Timing: Mexican and Indian events are known for running on "flexible" time. While we'll do our best to stay on schedule, please come with an open heart and a relaxed mindset. The best moments often happen when we let go of the clock!
